FjordSauna Flåm

Since opening in 2021, FjordSauna Flåm has delighted locals and visitors from around the world with amazing sauna sessions. Now featuring two floating saunas, we are open year-round to offer a unique wellness experience.

Our floating saunas are conveniently docked at piers 10 and 11, just a short walk from the Flåm town center. Nestled in a quiet area, they provide breathtaking views of the Aurlandsfjord and surrounding mountains.

Each floating sauna includes a changing room with a private stall and a sauna that accommodates up to 12 people. Our saunas are equipped with electric heaters for maximum comfort, allowing you to add fresh water for a steamy experience. Large windows provide panoramic views, immersing you in the stunning surroundings.

You can access the fjord through a hatch inside the sauna or go outside and jump from the main deck or rooftop, or use the ladders.

Your visit

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the Sauna Master who will take you inside the changing room. Change into your swimwear and store your belongings before heading into the sauna. You may use the outdoor shower (summer only) or take a dip in the fjord before entering the sauna (optional).

We highly recommend alternating between the steamy sauna and a refreshing fjord dip. This invigorating combination will leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. You can use the hatch inside the sauna, jump from the main deck or rooftop, or use the ladders to swim.

Booking

Choose your sauna experience; either private or shared! Tickets must be purchased in advance to ensure a spot. Any remaining tickets will be available as drop-in.

Towels are available for rent upon arrival (NOK 70 each).

Sauna experiences

You have the freedom to choose the sauna experience that suits you best. If you’re a social soul, opt for the shared sauna session, where you can meet new people, whether you come alone or with your friends. For those seeking a more intimate experience, the private sauna session is perfect for groups of friends, family gatherings, or a romantic escape with your partner. For the private option, the sauna is exclusively yours during the session.

Shared Sauna

Season: Open daily all year (closed December 24th)

Price: NOK 425 per person
Capacity: 12 people
Age limit: 12 years. We suggest booking a private sessions for families with younger kids.

Private Sauna

Season: Open daily all year (closed December 24th)

Price: NOK 2850 total
Capacity: up to 12 people
