How it works…
FjordSauna is located in the fjord villages Flåm and Aurland. Would you like more information about the different locations? Click here for FjordSauna Flåm and here for FjordSauna Aurland.
The main difference between our two locations lies in the architecture and features of the floating saunas. In Flåm, our saunas are built similarly to boats and attached to the main dock by ropes, while in Aurland, the sauna is constructed on a larger floating dock connected by a short bridge. Please note that we do not drive our floating saunas; they are always docked.
Both locations encourage swimming: in Flåm, you can use the hatch inside the sauna, jump from the rooftop or main deck, or use the ladders; in Aurland, you can jump from the dock or use the ladders.
All our saunas feature electric heaters for a steamy experience, changing rooms, and panoramic windows to enjoy the breathtaking views of the fjord and mountains.
Please note that FjordSauna uses outdoor surveillance cameras for security and safety during non-business hours only.

Did you know…
Regular use of sauna can improve the immune system and help the body fight infections as well as reduce stress and anxiety. Sweating can help remove toxins from the body, such as heavy metals and chemicals. Many people combine a sauna with a refreshing dip in the fjord, and cold baths work wonders for the immune system and blood circulation, reduce inflammation and swelling and help with stiff muscles.
